
Dr. Carolyn Buxton
When Dr. Carolyn Buxton became the practice owner of South Burnaby Veterinary Hospital in 1997, it was her vision to create a clinic that provided caring, compassionate and high-quality health care for pets and top quality service for clients.
Dr. Buxton graduated from the Ontario Veterinary Hospital in Guelph, Ontario in 1994. Very shortly after graduation, she moved to Vancouver to start her career in vet medicine, and within 2 years became a practice owner. Her passion and commitment to her clients, their pets and the amazing clinic staff have always been her top priority. She is very proud to be a part of a clinic that has been awarded "Best Vet Hospital in Burnaby" for over 18 years.
Dr. Buxton is keen on practising the most up-to-date medicine and keeps her skills sharp by attending numerous Continuing Education seminars yearly. In addition, Dr. Buxton is involved in international volunteer work, and regularly volunteers her time to support spay/neuter clinics and pet rescue. Dr. Buxton’s main interests are surgery (both conventional and laser), dentistry and behaviour.
