Tiffany, CVT

Veterinary Technician
I attended and completed with honours the Animal Health Technology Program in Kamloops, BC. My diploma is actually issued from University College of the Cariboo before it became Thompson Rivers University. Yes, that means I graduated many years ago! My interests lie in the practical realm versus the academic theory realm. I love working hands-on with the pets: radiology, blood collection and analysis, restraint, surgical prep, induction, and assisting. My true passion is dentistry. It's exciting to know and see how much younger, happier, and healthier pets look and behave after dental concerns are addressed and corrected. Fun Fact: I have volunteered with wildlife relocation projects and assisted with health checks, blood collections, and fecal collections for health analysis for Bighorn Sheep with the BC Ministry of Wildlife. I have also volunteered for the Mexi-can Vet project. Both projects have reinforced why I chose this career - No matter the species, habitat, or country it lives in, I want to make a positive difference in an animal's life.

COVID-19: Additional measures we are taking

Dear Clients,

Due to the close contact that our work requires, we have taken additional measures to protect you and our team while providing care for your furry family members

We are not accepting new patients at this time due to higher than normal case-loads, and pet boarding services are suspended until further notice. Thank you for your understanding.

Note: If you are experiencing respiratory symptoms, please let us know when you book your pet’s appointment. As the potential to spread to pets is still relatively unknown, it is possible that your pet could create a risk to other people who may be handling him or her. Whenever possible, please send someone who is not experiencing respiratory symptoms to the appointment with your pet.

The following changes are effective as of March 2nd, 2022:

Thank you for helping us be diligent for everyone's safety. As we have heard from all levels of government, the situation is fluid and any updates will be provided as changes occur.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out by email at info@southburnabyvethospital.com or by phone at 604-526-0334.
